On behalf of the St. Thomas Yacht Club and the title sponsor Rolex, we are honoured to offer sailors from around the world three days of unparalleled competition and shore side excitement. The last full weekend of March is now etched into every racer’s calendar as the time when the “Crown Jewel” of Caribbean racing takes place--where sailors can experience our reliable breezes, warm azure waters and world-renowned Island hospitality. If you’ve joined us in the past, you know that the competition and the camaraderie are unsurpassed. CSA, IRC, Multihull and Beach Cat classes with a current rating certificate and One-Design classes with a minimum length of 20ft.

*One-design classes and groups of boats wishing to race level will have a separate class or will be scored as a sub-class within their larger class at the discretion of the STYC Rolex Regatta Committee based on the number of entries and the event classes established.

The International Rolex Regatta centers all activities around St. Thomas Yacht Club, we're not a "traveling show".

Moorings available in front of the Club or drop a hook in nearby Christmas Cove Launch service runs daily from 0700 till midnight.

Dockage if you prefer, contact American Yacht Harbor AYH@igymairinas.com or Yacht Haven Grande. It is a 20-30 minute motor to the racing area.

New Year Rings in New Boats

ST. THOMAS, USVI (January 12, 2012) – With the New Year in full swing, racing sailors are finalizing plans to compete in the St. Thomas Yacht Club's 39th annual International Rolex Regatta, the oldest regatta in Rolex's yachting portfolio and most venerable of Caribbean spring events. A quick look at the roster of entries shows several hot new boats and first-time entries signed up for the three-day event, which begins Friday, March 23, and mixes island-style fun with hard-core IRC, CSA and one-design racing on courses that showcase the breathtaking coastlines of St. Thomas and nearby St. John.
